WiNet Global has been chosen as the featured Small Business Technology presenter for the United Professional Horsemen’s Association on Junuary 7th and 8th at the Boston Park Plaza.
CEO Dan Barnes presented on two topics. Social Media Marketing – Harnessing the Power of the Internet and Small Business Technology – A New Age in Computing.
Social Media Marketing – Harnessing the Power of the Internet was a presentation on how small businesses with a small or no budget can use social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube in a coordinated manner to increase brand awareness, drive traffic to a website and bring a sense of personality to an otherwise static website. The Small Business Technology – A New Age in Computing introduced the participants to ”The Cloud” and showed the business owners how to take advantage of solutions like Microsoft Business Productivity Online Suite to take advantage of enterprise level prodcutivity tools on a limited budget and how cloud-services mitigate the expense of server infrastructure and maintenance allowing for stronger strategic relationships between them and companies like WiNet Global.
